Folks, this is a big one for us! The Skally Line takes the stage at one of the premiere listening venues in the Twin Cities. The Aster Cafe is the oldest brick building in the City, sits in one of the most historic districts of Minneapolis, and should provide the perfect place for The Skally Line to play our unique repertoire of old--and new--Minnesota Old Time music. This Thursday show starts promptly at 9:00 p.m. and goes til midnight. There is a cover charge of $8.00 and seating is limited to 100 people, so you will want to call ahead if you can: 612.379.3138. The Aster serves great food, features Surly beer and a full bar, and was voted "The Best Place To Go on a First Date" by the City Pages this year. We're pleased as punch to have been given a shot at this stage and we're confident we'll have a great time. We'll need your help. The more folks we bring, the better our chances of being asked back. Spread the word. Here's a map to the Aster. Please refer to their website for convenient parking.
