We are humbled and grateful to have been invited back to this event by Virgil Benoit and the good folks of AFRAN: The Association of the French of the North. It's an extraordinary weekend of music, art, discussion, shopping, food, and ideas where Native American and Settler descendants can peacefully think, reflect, and discuss. The setting itself is historically resonant and the event is fun, eye-opening, and moving.
We'll be there both days: August 23 and 24. Schedules have not been published yet but we know we will have some shows and we'll play music around the fire on Saturday night. Keep tabs on AFRAN at their website and their Facebook Page.
I have reliable information that among the many guests and performers (including Lynx Lynx and The O'Neill Family if I've understood correctly), award-winning author Kent Nerburn MAY be there to talk about and sell his new book "Lone Dog Road."
